Mobaligh Education and Social Services Organization

Mobaligh Education & Social Services Organization (“MESSO”) is a non-governmental, independent community organization dedicated in serving the citizens of Afghanistan without any political, racial, or ethnic considerations. Established in 2022 in accordance with the regulations issued by the High Commission for Non-Governmental and Voluntary Sector.

MESSO provides humanitarian assistance to those in need across various sectors, across Afghanistan. Our principal aims include the provision of civic services including educational support, humanitarian aid, agricultural assistance (including assistance to farmers and animal husbandry), and general welfare.

Prior to the formal establishment of the organization, MESSO worked alongside the Kabul Orthopedics Organization in assisting an American not-for-profit organization, Mobaligh Education Foundation (“MEF”) with their educational initiatives, leading to the beginning of the establishment of MESSO. In 2019, the two organizations paired together, building a team to support the educational sponsorship of 35 underprivileged students in Kabul.
