About the Role:

This is a full-time, on-site role as an Assistant Project Manager located in Fleming Island, FL. The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects through completion. This role involves managing schedules, budgets, buyouts, submittals, meetings, documentation, and communication with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.

What you'll do:

• Work with the Project Manager as a proactive self-starter eager to learn and add value to the project team
• Assist with material and quantity take-offs, solicitation, and review of proposals
• Assist in the preparation and development of subcontracts and purchase orders
• Develop and maintain the Buyout and Submittal log through completion
• Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
• Monitor project schedules and budgets
• Prepare, distribute, and track RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, project schedules, and other documentation
• Conduct site visits to support progress monitoring, quality assurance, and issue resolution

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Experience in working in MS Project, ProCore, and Bluebeam
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment while being humble, hungry, and people-smart
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
