Smitten Ice Cream is looking for a Part Time Delivery Driver to help us keep all of our Bay Area Shops stocked with the highest-quality ice cream bases and other products. Delivery Van Driver Responsibilities Deliver products to Bay Area shops within established timeframe Safely and efficiently load and unload product according to shop orders and stops Help our Kitchen and Shop Managers to execute smooth inventory management operations, including matching pickup sheets to invoices and making notes of any shorts Help with central kitchen tasks, including washing dishes, receiving orders, and restocking on delivery days Maintain quality service by following operational and safety standards Represent Smitten Ice Cream in a professional and thoughtful manner Delivery Van Driver Requirements California Class C Driver’s License and a clean DMV record 1-3 years of prior driving work experience (manual unloading work preferred) High school diploma or equivalent educational experience desirable 18 years of age or older Pass a background check Authorized to work in the United States What We Offer You $17.00/hour A fixed schedule: Monday - Wednesday, start time between 7am-8am A supportive team where diversity and creativity are valued Ice cream! While performing the responsibilities of a Driver, the employee is required to: Lift 50 lbs Push/pull up to 100 lbs Bend, stoop, turn/twist body, reach, squat, walk, kneel, crouch, and stand This is a physical position. The following physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Driver’s job.
