Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers. This role involves delivering freight efficiently and safely while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring that all loads are secured and transported in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of trucks including manual transmission vehicles, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers.
• Safely load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of goods during transport.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Navigate routes effectively to deliver goods on time while maintaining accurate delivery records.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays during transportation.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading cargo.
• Manage route driving efficiently to optimize delivery schedules.

Experience

• Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong background in commercial driving.
• Familiarity with various truck types such as dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers is preferred.
• Experience in delivery driving with a focus on freight handling is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck operation and freight transport.
• Must have Class A license

Shift: Monday- Friday Starts at 8:30am finish once deliveries are completed .

Pay: $26.00
