Hennepin Partners is a Minneapolis-based middle market M&A advisory firm serving entrepreneurs, private equity firms and corporations across a broad range of industries (visit Hennepin prides itself on its Midwest roots, collegial workplace and constructive approach to junior professional involvement in deal-making and career advancement. 

The firm is seeking a full-time analyst for its Minneapolis office. In addition to strong interest in Minneapolis, the ideal candidate is driven, but team-oriented with an innate curiosity about deal-making and how businesses are organized and operate. 

The anticipated start date for this position is June 2026.  

Responsibilities  

• Analyzing businesses and preparing various marketing materials for pitching new business and executing client engagements 
• Constructing and reviewing financial and valuation models 
• Analyzing and explaining historical and projected financial information 
• Contributing to the planning of client engagements 
• Performing due diligence on a business and coordinating and organizing that work for others’ use 
• Managing clients, buyers, lenders, and third-party providers throughout the deal execution process 
• Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with clients, prospective clients, buyers and professional advisors 

Qualifications  

• Bachelor's degree with exceptional history of academic achievement 
• Preference for experience in a relevant occupation (e.g., transaction services, consultant, etc.) 
• Comfort with, and interest in, writing and formatting marketing materials 
• Appropriate familiarity with general business, accounting and financial topics 
• Capable with financial modeling and Microsoft business programs 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills 
• Ability to thrive in a team environment under demanding schedules 
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership qualities 
• Personal responsibility, integrity, self-discipline, and pride in your work product 

Must be willing to reside in Minnesota
