Senior Product Manager, Android Telephony

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience in working with external Business-to-Business (B2B) customer relationships.
  • 3 years of experience with wireless technologies like LTE/5G, Bluetooth, WiFi or Satellite communications, or demonstration of your ability to teach yourself this technical domain with exceptional speed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a Technology or a Business related field.
  • 5 years of experience in product management with shipping consumer features that involve connectivity, hardware and software.
  • Experience with eSIM, Satellite Communications, Next Gen telecommunications.
  • Experience with device software, Android or iOS App or platform development, mobile phone hardware, and mobile carriers.
  • Excellent communication, user experience skills with the ability to create user-friendly products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Engage Global Carriers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to set a connectivity roadmap.
  • Execute the Carrier Connectivity goals for Android across initiatives including Satellite, Electronic-Subscriber Identity Module (eSIM), Calling, Messaging, Security, 5G/6G, Open Gateway.
  • Define and execute features for upcoming Android releases in collaboration with Engineering, User Experience/User Experience Design (UX/UXR), Business Development and Marketing teams.
