MESSO provides a wide range of civic services aimed at meeting the immediate and long-term needs of Afghan citizens. These services include:
Educational Support:
Assisting orphaned and disabled children by providing transportation, school uniforms, stationery, and school fees to ensure access to education. Our support includes supporting their families financial to allow the ability of the children to focus on education.
Our efforts aim to ensure access to education for those most in need. Education serves as a safeguard for children, paving the way for a brighter future. It instills hope and helps them recover, learn, and thrive. Yet, more than 4 million children in Afghanistan are out of school, and many others are only receiving inadequate education.
Humanitarian Aid / Emergency Relief:
Distributing financial aid and essential goods to families affected by natural disasters. Whether it being financial aid or humanitarian wellness packages, we prioritize saving the lives of others during emergencies.
Humanitarian aid is vital for several reasons, particularly in alleviating human suffering and preserving dignity in times of crisis. It plays an essential role in responding to natural disasters, conflicts, health emergencies, and other crises where people are left vulnerable and without basic needs.
Agricultural Assistance:
Supporting local farmers with tools, training, and resources to boost productivity and improve animal husbandry practices. Livestock farming is a vital aspect of Afghanistan’s culture. Livestock provides meat, dairy, wool, and hides for both domestic use and trade.
Social Welfare Programs:
Supporting vulnerable families, widows, and elderly citizens with financial and social support services. Organizing projects aimed at improving community infrastructure and access to basic services like clean water, sanitation, and healthcare.
