About Us This opportunity offers the chance to work directly with an entrepreneur based in Midway, Utah, who oversees a range of personal and business projects. You'll be supporting him one-on-one-there's no middle layer of management or large team-which means your work will have a direct impact on keeping his operations organized and running smoothly.
What You Will Do As a part- time Personal Bookkeeper & Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support across a range of personal and business activities. This is a hybrid position and work hours are expected to be 18-20 hours per week. This role blends financial oversight with administrative coordination, requiring someone who is comfortable managing day-to-day bookkeeping, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various operational tasks. You will work directly with the owner, a successful entrepreneur, gaining visibility into multiple ventures and playing a key role in ensuring they stay organized and on track. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a flexible, self-directed environment.
Responsibilities: - Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks across a few small entities
- Track and categorize expenses, generate basic reports, and support tax prep
- File occasional paperwork and maintain administrative organization (?)
- Retrieve documents for personal investments and coordinate with a CPA
- Help manage everyday tasks-mail, digital files, project to-dos, and reminders
- Work can be completed remotely or in-office / hybrid, with meeting in-person as needed
Who You Are You are a dependable, detail-oriented professional with proven experience in bookkeeping and a strong command of QuickBooks. You are comfortable managing financial records across multiple entities and can work independently with minimal oversight. You bring a high level of integrity, are skilled at handling confidential information, and are capable of balancing day-to-day financial tasks with broader administrative responsibilities. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and values flexibility in their schedule.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate proactively.
- Experience handling sensitive financial and personal information with discretion.
- Familiarity with small business or multi-entity environments is a plus.
- Accounting experience is desirable but not required.
- Able to meet in-person in office located in Midway as needed.
